If you had to make a choice...which would you pick...
An almost perfect partner, but a short lived companionship
OR
A life long commiment and companionship with someone not exactly perfect...but hmmm ok sure he is ok types.
I know the question has been asked before.... a lot of times
But do we really know...
Why would you give up on perfection
Even if it is short lived
Why would you not want to be loved by someone...that will love you live no one else can....
Why...
Because we are so weak
Why do matters of the heart and love have to be so painful
Why is love the most beautiful thing... and also one of the most painful thing....
If you have never fallen in love,... you probably wonder what it is...how it feels...
And then when it happens...
I think it changes your life forever...even though the different possible consequesces
If it all works out for you.... you have found the ONE
If it doesnt.... you either move on...or you dont
If you move on....you restart that search for love
You try to find that special someone... remembering the things that went wrong the first time... hoping it doesnt happen again...
If you dont move on.... it stays within you ....
If you havnt been in love...it will be the most amazing thing...
If you have been in love... I think you have gone though a change because of that enchanting and captivating thing..
Take a moment...
Try to remember the first time you felt like you were in love...
the first time your heart skipped a beat when some said they loved you

Maybe I should have mentioned that before
But maybe this got you thinking...

It's really a difficult choice there. But in the long run, practically, the other option suits better - at least u hv the chance to take that person to that perfection level? I mean, he/she is there for u to experiment/live/grow together. And who knows, staying together u might realise that 'that ok sort' was actually perfect for u - and that's y subconsciously u had chosen him/her! Hai na?
But then, I m no one to advise on love and its matters - personally, i feel its an over-hyped emotion :-)

does perfection exist? i think not! perfection in my opinion is our opinion of how we want things to be... so that rules out one option and leaves us with the other.... rt?

If it doesnt.... you either move on...or you dont" strongly disagree.. when in love.. u make things work.. cos nothing is worth letting go of the person u soo much lvoe.. anything and everything can be worked out and no problem s insurmountable.. at the end of it, the smile is worth all the trouble and pain u take to achieve it.. for ur love..

I am sure it depends a lot on person to person. Earlier I used to think that everyone CAN share the same feeling about love. After some time I started thinking that girls & guys think very differently about love (here I am not commenting about good or bad).. But now I think every other person (guy or gal) can think differently at different period of life.. What has changed for me.. yesh, i have an experience which is different from others & also from my own past level of experiences . For me, now, perfection is important and I will choose the first option. I can make sense to some & wouldn't make to others, which is very normal.
@DJ. yeah...so true. about love being over hyped...maybe it is...im not sure.

@anks. u answered your own question... perfection does exist... it is only our own opinions, want, and desires. is there a universal agreement on perfection... absolutely not. its very likely that there is no one person associates wit ur view of perfection... that wouldnt make it any less perfect for u...or would it...
@clueless. yes u try to make it work.. but in reality do things really work out... is life that easy... i think not. u could smile and be glad it happened... many times u have to let go... irrespective of the deapth of ur feelings.
@dhruv. yes difference... u chose the first option at this point.. and u might even choose something else in the future. i guess its all about what feels right...right then...
dunno what to say...u luv a person inspite of what he/she is and not for what he/she is (sounds like a cliche)...so are we really looking for perfection when we are in luv??...well there are some questions which cant be answered theoritically...each to his own

@clueless. ok see there is a diff between things working out... and things working out for the best. when u just work out...to me, thats like work out with u and that one specific person. but saying things will work out for the best...thats more of a general everthing in the end will be good kinda way of looking at it.
and one thing that i wanted realy badly....and didnt get. what if it was a person...fell in love...blah blah and then had to pary ways because of unavoidable situatuions...
i think at this point we are loosing what i was exactly trying to say in the original post...
